Do you cover the whole of Melbourne, or only the suburbs listed here?
The suburbs listed on this page are the ones we work most often and have a dedicated page for, but our coverage is wider than the list. We are a mobile service, so the real question is travel time rather than a boundary on a map. If your suburb is not shown, call and tell us where the bike is. We will say yes or no on the spot rather than leave you guessing.
How do I know which suburb page applies to my bike?
Pick the page for the suburb where the bike is sitting right now, not where you live or where it is registered. If your bike broke down two suburbs from home, use the page for the suburb it is stuck in. The pages differ mainly in local access detail, and none of it changes the price or the work, so getting it slightly wrong costs you nothing.
Does it cost more if I am further out?
Distance is one of the things we take into account when we quote, along with the bike, the key type and the job itself. We confirm a price on the phone before we travel, so you will never be surprised by a figure once we arrive. If the travel makes a job impractical, we will say so during that call instead of turning up and adding to it.
Can you come to a workplace, a car park or the side of the road?
Yes. We work at the bike wherever it is standing: a kerb, a driveway, a rear laneway, an apartment basement, a shopping centre deck, a work site or a breakdown on a main road. All we need is the ability to get to the bike safely and enough light and space to work. Tell us the spot when you call and we will plan the approach.
Do you work on cars, homes or businesses in these areas?
No. We only work on motorcycles, scooters and mopeds, and that is deliberate rather than a limitation. Bike ignitions, transponders and immobilisers are a different discipline to car and building locks, and doing only bikes is what keeps us quick at it. For a car or a house you will need a different locksmith.
