Yes, provided somebody can let us through the shutter. Basement parking is not a barrier, it is just a step to organise first. Give us the building, the level and the bay number when you ring, and arrange for a resident or the building manager to open up. We then carry the cutting and coding gear down and do the whole job in the bay.
I have no key at all for my motorcycle. Can one still be made?
Yes. Starting with nothing is the normal case rather than the hard case. We take the code from the lock on the bike itself, cut a blade to match it and then program the transponder if the model carries an immobiliser. It all happens at the kerb or in the driveway. Bring the registration papers out with you so we can confirm the exact model and year.
How long does a transponder key take once you are on site?
It varies with the make and the year, so we would rather explain it on the phone than throw a number at you here. Cutting the blade is the quick part. Programming depends on how the immobiliser is set up and whether an existing key is available. When you ring with the model and year, we will describe what is involved and confirm a price before we travel.
The fuel cap lock on my bike has seized. Do you handle that?
We do. Fuel cap locks, seat locks and helmet locks all seize or wear out, usually from weather and grit rather than anything you did. We work on them where the bike is parked, repairing the lock where that is sensible and replacing it where it is not. Tell us which lock is stuck and how it is behaving, and we will bring the right parts.
