Can you open a scooter seat with the key locked inside?
Yes, and it is one of the most common calls we get in this part of Melbourne. The seat lock can be opened at the kerb without cutting into the bodywork in almost every case. Once it is open we check why it happened, because a worn or sticky mechanism will do it again. Tell us the make and model of the scooter when you ring.
Do you do Honda bikes with the H.I.S.S. immobiliser?
Yes. H.I.S.S. is Honda’s immobiliser system, and the chip for it sits inside a conventional cut key rather than in a separate fob. We cut a blade to match your bike’s locks and then program the chip so the immobiliser accepts it, all at the bike. Give us the model and year when you ring and we will confirm what is possible before we set out.
Will you come out to a house in the streets behind the station?
That is where most of our Bentleigh work happens. Home visits are simpler than kerbside ones because there is room to work and the bike is not sitting in traffic.
