Give us the entrance you used, the level and the closest shopfront, and stay with the bike so we can test the new key in the ignition and locks before we leave.
The engine turns over but an immobiliser light is flashing. What is going on?
That usually means the barrel is happy and the chip is not. The immobiliser is looking for a transponder it recognises, and if the key has an unprogrammed chip, a damaged one or none at all, the bike stays put. We program the chip to the bike on site where the model allows it. Tell us the make, model and year and we will say what is possible.
Our courier bikes are parked in a yard in the Tally Ho estate. Can you sort several at once?
Yes, and it is easier for everyone if we do them together. Line the bikes up, have the registration papers for each one ready and let us know which need spares and which are missing keys entirely. We work through them in the yard. Ring during the day and we will confirm a price for the group on the phone before we travel.
The fuel cap lock on my bike has jammed. Is that a separate job?
It is part of the same visit. Fuel caps, seat locks and steering locks all get seized, worn or damaged, often long before the ignition does, and a jammed cap turns a simple refuel into a wasted trip. We can free, repair or replace the lock at the bike and key it so the same key works everything. Mention it when you ring so the right parts come with us.
Is there anywhere I can meet you instead of waiting at the bike?
No, and that is by design. There is no shop, no counter and no workshop behind this: Michael drives to wherever the bike is and the work happens there. It means you are not arranging a tow to meet a locksmith, but it also means someone needs to be with the bike, with registration papers and photo identification, when we arrive.
