My key went missing while I was at a cafe on Station Street. What now?
Leave the bike in the bay and ring us from the footpath. We come to that spot, take the code off the lock on the bike, cut a new key there and program the transponder if the model carries one. No tow truck is involved and the bike does not spend the night on the strip. Most riders are back on the road before the cafe closes.
Can you reach a bike parked down at Fairfield Park after dark?
Yes. The park roads are dark and short on house numbers, so we work from the car park name, the boathouse road or the gate you rode in through. Tell us which one and stay with the bike if you can. We carry our own lighting, and cutting and coding a key by the fence line is no harder than doing it on a street.
My bike is in a rear lane too narrow for a van. Does that matter?
Not at all. Half of the older Fairfield streets have lanes a van has no business entering. We park legally on the street, load what the job needs and walk it in. Give us the lane name if it has one, or the house number the lane runs behind, and describe the gate so we knock on the right one first time.
Is a Honda with H.I.S.S. something you can key from scratch?

Yes, and they make up a solid share of the work. Mopeds, 50cc scooters and larger scooters all get the same service as a big motorcycle: keys cut from the lock, spares made, chips programmed and seat or ignition locks repaired at the kerb. Just tell us the make, model and year, because small machines vary a lot in what they use.
